Support teachers in their daily school life, assist during lessons, and help students with their tasks and exercises.
Help students learn and practice English, or – depending on the school and their current needs – share your other language skills.
Support individual students or small groups in learning, reviewing, and deepening their understanding of classroom topics.
Bring your own ideas to life—whether it's sports, music, art, games, or small projects—and collaborate with the school to create extra activities.

In our School & Education programme, you will support teachers and students at a school in Cape Coast or the surrounding area. You don't need any prior teaching experience or formal pedagogical training. Together, we will see which tasks match your interests and strengths, and where the school currently needs support the most.
For example, you can assist during lessons, support individual students or small groups with their learning, or get involved with English and other school activities.
Creative activities, games, or small projects can also be part of your placement.
Your own ideas are always welcome and will be coordinated together with the local teachers.
Your typical day
During the week, you'll be part of the daily school routine. Most placements start around 8:00 AM and finish around 4:00 PM, depending on the school and its schedule. You'll work hand-in-hand with the local teachers, and your specific tasks will be tailored to you. Your weekends are entirely your own to enjoy.
